Sandringham Craft Fair

So, eventhough it was one VERY cold weekend in Sandringham thank you so much to all those who did manage to get to come and enjoy all the crafts and food available!
We were pretty proud of the stand had some lovely comments from the visitors.

'one of the most original stands here'

'you have a stand with some of the most creative work here'

and here's some proof of just how cold it really was!!! Aimee wearing about 5 layers AND extra blankets!

Up coming event!

I will be exhibiting on a shared stand with Aimeé Fisher (a very talented ceramic maker!) at Sandringham Craft and Food Fair at the end of this month. Have lots to do still but looking forward to my first show of the year :)

Please feel free to come along and have a day out. There will be lots to do and a really wide variety of crafts to see!

I am now renting a studio space at Knighton Lane, sharing with my fellow maker Hayley Dexter. Have already managed to make lots of mess!

Painting in The Greyhound Hinckley

So inbetween working this summer I was asked to paint a mural in The Greyhound pub in Hinckley. It took me 3 days and lots of paint but i loved doing it and am pretty proud of the result!
If you're local i hope you can make a visit and have a look or just enjoy the photo if not :)

My very first throwing wheel!!

I have finally bought my very own throwing wheel :)
I'm so excited to use it! Now i've finished work for the summer I will hopefully have lots of time to get going!

Return from Art in Action

The concentration during set up!

So have been back for two days and i'm still tired!!
Art in Action was an amazing experience and show and i couldn't have shared it with a better group of people, it was an absolute pleasure to spend four days at Waterperry House and Gardens.
We had loads of interest and many positive and encouraging comments, and felt we were warmly welcomed by all exhibitors and visitors.
Thank you to everyone who came and visited our stand and especially to those who made purchases! I was very excited to see my work enjoyed and go to good homes :)

Art in Action

The degree show is over, our results are in and graduation is just a couple of weeks away!
The same week as graduation, myself and some of my fellow graduating ceramicists are going to be exibiting in Oxford at Waterperry House for Art in Action.
Our very first exhibition as makers not just students. Exciting but a little bit terrifying if i'm honest!
Everyone is welcome to come, there is lots to see and experience and is sure to be a brilliant few days.
Here's the link for all the info and i hope we shall see you there.
